63/23008 mbufs in use: 15 mbufs allocated to data 48 mbufs allocated to packet headers 0/1782/32768 mbuf clusters in use (current/peak/max)The 'max' number is the value of NMBCLUSTERS in the kernel config. In /usr/src/sys/conf/param.c, this is used to set the maximum number of sockets. The number of sockets is set to either MAXFILES or NMBCLUSTERS, whichever is higher. The line at the top is the number of sockets in use and the maximum number that have been in use. If the number in use grows to be as big as the max, bad things happen. The machine freezes up for something like a minute, and all network activity stops. This is the reason for setting NMBCLUSTERS higher than the number calculated from MAXUSERS.
